The following is an in-progress section about Neil Sedaka’s alternate single mixes and edits with Lee on bass. Just as it happened with the similar James Taylor entry, Beardbassman and I thought it was best to have it as a separate instance from the original post, so as to make it more reachable. Needless to say, the following is not exhaustive yet: please do keep checking it out ever so often as some more material is going to be added on the next few weeks. We wish to emphasize that, as always, only one instance per mix/edit was and will be taken into account: while same version might have been released in a number of different packaging combinations, we are primarily concerned with the mix/edit in and of itself.

The edited out part is the full chorus that on the LP version comes after the instrumental break and before the ad-lib fade-out. 4) Both single edits end with same ad-lib fade-out as on LP version. 5) Please note that nowhere on record label it is mentioned these are edit versions.
