Notes: 1) “Spectrum” is master drummer Billy Cobham's first solo album. It was released in 1973 while Cobham was still a member of Mahavishnu Orchestra along with co-founder John McLaughlin. 2) Above picture and following credits were taken from the 1973 US vinyl pressing. This release originally came in a gatefold sleeve. 3) Album has been reissued on cd various times. 4) Some remastered CD re-releases of “Spectrum” include bonus track “All 4 One”. Lee has explained that this track is a warm-up jam originally intended for engineer Ken Scott to get the right recording sounds. The line-up in “All 4 One” is Cobham, Lee, Tommy Bolin and Jan Hammer, all playing same instruments as on “Stratus”. 5) “Spectrum” has also been released as a DVD-audio outing. At least for the EU release that specific issue would not include bonus track “All 4 One”. 6) According to web sources, some CD releases of “Spectrum” seem to come with recording dates. This is not true for the original vinyl release the following credits were taken from. 7) According to web sources, bonus track “All 4 One” was included in the 2-disc CD anthology “Rudiments”.
