Peter Asher On The Making Of James Taylor’s “Mud Slide Slim And The Blue Horizon”

Rhino has recently reissued the complete collection of all the Warner Bros. albums by James Taylor as both 6-CD and 180-gram 6-LP sets as well as digitally. Peter Asher, who signed Taylor to the Beatles’ Apple Records label in 1968, worked as his manager for 25 years and originally produced several of these LPs, has overseen the remastering process of each of the albums in the set. In a series of seven video contributions on the Rhino Channel, he offers a behind the scenes recollection of the making of these recordings. You may find an interesting Lee story at 0.34.
